Undo button won't work

I've been an avid viewer of the Filipino t.v. show, "Imortal". If you are a fan too, then you would know what I'll be talking about. If not, don't worry.  This isn't really about the show.   :)

The latest episodes of the show were about the revenge of Mateo. He is one of the main characters who pleaded to become a vampire even if he didn't want to. The reason for it was to revenge the death of his father.  In today's episode, Mateo was struggling on doing what's right. He was stopped by Lia - his love life in the show (hehe) in doing the revenge. Lia was reminding him that whatever he will be doing, he can never go back and change it.

Those words stayed in my mind. It's a fact that we sometimes forget or miss. Undo button just won't work in our lives.

If you are struggling with life decisions today...
If you you don't know what is the right thing to do...
If you need wisdom...

...ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. (James 1:5)

I've done things in the past which I could not change. I can't do anything about it anymore. I pray that I will just be wiser today. And I hope, it is your prayer too.

being child-like

Last night, I had a heart of a child. I bought a happy feet slip-ons for just $10 which was supposed to be $15. When I got home, I immediately climbed to my bed and slipped my feet on them. And, I felt so comfy and happy! :D I just don't want to remove them from my feet! I wish I could wear them everywhere!

Every time I would go home to Bacolod, my cousin, Jonah who grew up really close with me, would be very happy already even if we just eat at McDonald's East or go to Robinson's to play some arcade games.

Simple things could already make a child happy. A red balloon. A dirty ice cream. A walk in the park.

I remembered a blog of a friend, whom her daughter hugged her and sweetly said the love words even after she got scolded. Isn't it sweet? I told myself, I wish we, adults could be like a child sometimes - to be easy in being forgiving to those who have hurt us, whoever's fault it is.

As much as a child learns from us, the older ones. We too, sometimes, need to learn from a child.

Matthew 18: 2 - 4
Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them. Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven..."

We really don't need to get a happy feet to become like little children. Our heart is enough. :)
