December is coming! Though, this is a reminder for me that I will be going home very soon. :( It’s not that I don’t want to go home. It’s just that I’ll miss a lot! But anyway, that’s a different story. Live for today! Live for December first! :)
What are your plans for December? :) I’ve already started making cards for my family and some friends. I’ve also started making my Christmas gift list. I’m no-no to Christmas shopping rush that’s why I will start doing my gift hunting as early as possible. My calendar is already marked for some events this December. This is actually my first Christmas here in Canada because I went out of the country last year. That’s why I’m excited! I know I missed a lot last year so I’ll be doing everything that I can this year. :)
I know that giving or sharing is not just a Christmas thing but should be an everyday thing. But, Christmas just makes giving more special. :) It’s not just about the gift that you give, but it is also letting the person see who the real “Giver” is. Giving of gifts is just a representation of what our Heavenly Father has given to us as a gift. And that is the true reason why we celebrate Christmas - to honor the birth of our Lord Jesus through whom we received the gift of life that is everlasting. Who could beat that? :) No one. You can’t buy that in stores. It’s totally priceless! We may be happy for a moment when we receive gifts from our loved ones but receiving the gift of God will give us lasting joy and peace. And what’s nice about it? Not like gifts that we only receive mostly on Christmas, God’s gift is offered all year round. :) So, if you haven’t received Jesus yet in your life, what are you waiting for? :) Make this Christmas a very meaningful one for you!

This will be another Christmas that I’m away from my family. But, I’ll definitely make it up next year! :) I hope we all have a very meaningful December and let’s make the most of our 2011 with one month left. This has really been a very roller coaster year for me. A lot of downs but made me look UP a lot also. And definitely, made me better! :) God is really cool, amazing and great!! He is the best - always!! Right? :)
